Plano police are investigating a murder after witness found a man dead on the balcony of his apartment around 7:30 Thursday morning. The man had been shot.
Police have not yet identified the victim, but say he is Hispanic and lived at the Legends on Chase Oaks apartment complex on Legacy.
A witness saw a car leaving the scene and was able to provide that information to police. Officers tracked the car down shortly after, and took two people into custody for questioning. No charges have been filed at this time.
Investigators have not determined the motive in this deadly shooting, but say it does not appear to be random. There was no forced entry to the man's apartment, so police believe he may have known his attacker.
