A Plano man is $1 million richer after playing the Texas lottery.
Nathan Hamilton claimed a top prize worth $1 million in the scratch ticket game Holiday Game Book.
He bought the winning ticket at QuikTrip in the 900 block of West Park Boulevard in Plano, which is now eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
Lottery officials said Hamilton claimed the second of four top prizes worth $1 million available in the game.
Holiday Game Book offers more than $62.3 million in total prizes and comes with six different games inside.
Overall odds of winning any prize in Holiday Game Book are one in 3.31, including break-even prizes.
