Pilot Safe After Emergency Landing in Fort Worth

The pilot of a small single engine plane is safe after making an emergency landing in Fort Worth.

The pilot set down in a field around 1:30 Sunday afternoon at the northeast corner of Loop 820 and Trinity Boulevard. The plane lost oil pressure, forcing him to look for a large area to land, the pilot said.

He was returning from flying over Globe Life Park in Arlington where he was pulling a Geico Insurance banner.
