Passengers Injured in Greyhound Bus Crash

Authorities say 10 passengers suffered minor injuries in an accident involving a Greyhound bus and a car about 20 miles east of Dallas.

Maureen Richmond with Dallas-based Greyhound Bus Lines said Thursday that the car sideswiped the bus in the Highway 80 wreck in Forney. Richmond says 48 passengers were on board late Wednesday afternoon.

Forney fire Chief Rick Townsend says seven bus passengers were taken to hospitals to be checked, as a precaution. Three others were treated at the scene. Nobody in the car was hurt.

Richmond says the bus bound from Shreveport, La., to Dallas sustained minor damage and the driver later completed the route.
