Parents Concerned About Attempted Abductions Meet Wednesday Night

Anxious parents in the Keller Independent School District are fighting back against a rash of attempted abductions.

So far there have been no arrests and police say they're working non-stop to fine a suspect in all three cases in North Fort Worth.

On Wednesday, Fort Worth police released a sketch of the suspect in the attempted abduction.

Parents plan to meet at Silver Sage Park at 7 p.m. Wednesday night to discuss the problem, they say they want to do something before students go on summer vacation.

The community meeting is aimed at getting the word out about the abduction attempts according to meeting organizer Olivia Rodriguez. She says she wants to get parents together to protect children in the area.

In the the attempted abductions in the last two week the children report a different color of pickup approaching them. Two of the children said the man told them he was there to take them to their mother.

The third child said a man was more aggressive, telling him to get in the truck.

More than 50 parents have liked and shared Rodriguez's Facebook post about Wednesday night's meeting.
