One Shot, One Injured In Arcade Robbery

Police looking for four people

Two men were injured in a game room robbery early Monday morning, according to Fort Worth police.

It happened at about 4 a.m. at the Big Ten Arcade in the 9800-block of Saginaw Boulevard.

Police Captain Kevin Rodricks said two people were inside the business when a man walked in and "milled" around like a customer. At some point, he went to the restroom where he retrieved a weapon, and began robbing the arcade.

The man then let three other men into the business, who helped him rob the others, according to police.

During the robbery, two customers came in, Rodricks said. They saw the crime in progress and tried to flee. One man was shot in the leg and torso.

He was taken to the hospital and is in unknown condition, police said.

The other man began to run away, he tripped in the parking lot and injured himself. He was also taken to the hospital.

Fort Worth police warned earlier this summer of other game room robberies in the area. Rodricks said he does not know if this robbery is related to two others in recent weeks.

An earlier report from police indicated the second man was injured after being chased and beaten, but police now say his injuries were from a fall.
