Officials said they identified a woman whose body was found after a fire at a Fort Worth apartment complex Monday.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed that 31-year-old Ashlea Harris died in her apartment. Firefighters said they found Harris after extinguishing a small fire in the 4700 block of King Ranch Road and called Fort Worth police to investigate.
Officers confirmed to NBC 5 that Harris did not die of natural causes. Detectives said they are investigating Harris' death as a homicide.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet released the cause of death.
