An off-duty Dallas City Marshal's officer was injured Wednesday night after a suspected intoxicated driver crashed into his vehicle, police say.
Officers responded to reports of a crash at the intersection of South Good Latimer Expressway and Taylor Street in downtown at about 11 p.m.
Police said a woman crashed into the officer, flipping his vehicle. She was seen being handcuffed and detained after a field sobriety test.
The injured officer was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
No further information was immediately released.
