Oak Farms Dairy Offers Reward After Employee Murdered

Oak Farms Dairy, which has frequently offered reward money to help solve crimes, is putting up $10,000 to find the person who murdered one of their employees.

Someone shot and killed 53-year-old Juan Zelada Saturday morning at his apartment complex on Military Parkway near Saint Augustine Road.

Police said Zelada's wallet was missing and believe robbery was the motive in his murder, but have revealed no suspects or further details in the investigation.

Zelada had been with Oak Farms Dairy for 11 years and worked in the cold storage vault near Fair Park.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Dallas Police Department.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
