Police officers in Keene are helping bring smiles to their community, even when they pull them over.
To help better unite the department with its citizens, they've been handing out gift cards instead of citations.
Officers said it's their way to brighten everyone's holiday.
They even posted a video on the department's Facebook page as they surprised a woman who thought she was getting a ticket.
The department said an anonymous donor paid for the gift cards.
