A former Coppell student will be in attendance for President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night.
2nd Lt. Brittany Ramos, a recent graduate of officer's school in the military, was nominated by her commanding officer to be a guest of the president.
Ramos was selected and will join the United States Congress in the U.S. Capitol building Tuesday night.
The annual State of the Union address will be carried live on NBC 5 and NBCDFW.com beginning shortly before 8 p.m.
