Missing Children in Hill County Found, Turned Over to CPS
    NBC 5 News/Hill County Sheriff's Office
Hill County Sheriff's deputies have been searching for 5-year-old Lulamae Ann King and 6-year-old Deondre King.

Two Hill County children who were the subject of an Amber Alert last month are now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

The Amber Alert was issued for 5-year-old Lulamae Ann King and 6-year-old Deondre King after authorities said the children were taken by their mother and believed to be headed to Oklahoma. The alert was later discontinued due to a lack of information.

Following up on a request from the Waco Police Department, Dallas police officers found the children and their mother at a residence on the 8100 block of Jennie Lee Lane.

The mother, previously identified as 27-year-old Cristal Chauntell Taylor, released the children to the custody of CPS. The children were in good condition, police said.

Before being found by the Dallas police, Taylor was last seen with 41-year-old Clifford Ray King Jr. in Whitney, in a white 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier. The Cavalier was found abandoned in Oak Cliff. King, who was detained by police, was later released and not charged.
