Maxwell Investigation Includes His Alleged Dating Profile

Investigators are looking into a dating profile believed to belong to a man accused of abducting, beating and sexually assaulting a former neighbor for 12 days.

The 62-year-old woman ran out of Jeffrey Maxwell's farmhouse in Corsicana on Saturday when investigators went to his house.

The Parker County Sheriff's Department confirmed Thursday that it was investigating a dating-service account that may belong to him.

The profile says he has been divorced for 13 years and is looking for straight women aged 45 to 60 who are single. Under the question "the most private thing you're willing to admit," the answer is "nothing at this time."

NBC DFW is not naming the website until police confirm that Maxwell is the account owner.

Investigators are also searching Maxwellโ€™s former homes. Before he moved to Corsicana in 2005, he lived in a handful of houses in Parker County, Johnson County and Fort Worth.

Investigators are looking for evidence in the disappearances of three other women, including his former wife, Martha Martinez, who has been missing since 1992.

Maxwell remains in jail in Parker County on $400,000 bail. He is charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.

Maxwell's arrest complaint said he confessed to kidnapping his former neighbor but has not commented on any other cases.
