Mansfield is spending $800,000 to construct the city's first off-leash dog park.
Officials are planning on a location near Broad and Main streets for the 10-acre park.
If the location is approved, the park could be ready by next spring.
Money for the park comes from the half-cent sales tax that's dedicated to parks and recreation.
