A Fort Worth man set his house on fire with his wife and several young children inside and then fled on a bicycle, police said.
Likia Adams-Shoemake, 21, of Fort Worth, was arrested on arson and attempted murder charges.
Police received a domestic disturbance call from the man's wife about 9 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of Portland Street.
When officers arrived, "the house was engulfed in flames and smoke was coming from all sides of the residence," according to a police report.
As the fire department worked to put out the blaze, officers located Adams-Shoemake riding his bicycle along Interstate 35 and arrested him.
The children were ages 9, 8 and 5. An infant also was in the house at the time, police said.
Nobody was injured.
