Fort Worth police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man early Tuesday morning.
The shooting happened on the 1800 block of Portland Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.
Authorities said a small group of people were in a convenience store parking lot when one of the men was shot multiple times.
The victim was being transported to the hospital when he died.
The victim is described as a black adult male.
The gunman fled the scene before police arrived. No description of the suspect has been provided.
The shooting is under investigation.
