A man has been hospitalized after being shot while driving on a North Texas highway.[[329870241,C]]
The victim told police he was in his pickup truck heading westbound on Loop 820 near Rufe Snow Drive in North Richland Hills Monday at about 8:15 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up beside him and fired several gun shot into the truck.
The car then fled the scene.
The victim was shot in the leg and drove himself to a nearby hospital.
Officers are currently searching for the shooter, who police said had a dog in the car with him.
