A man was burned over much of his body Thursday morning after a fire started in his apartment in west Fort Worth, fire crews said.
Capt. Tom Crow with the Fort Worth Fire Department said there was a small fire inside a home that had four smaller apartments inside in the 4200-block of Blackstone.
When firefighers arrived, they found the man badly burned, and put the small fire out. The man was flown to Parkland Hospital. His condition is unknown.
Crow said fire and bomb investigators were on scene looking into how the fire started. None of the other parts of the home were damaged.
