Police said a 23-year-old man was killed and a woman was wounded in a shooting in Dallas Wednesday morning.

Dallas police said they responded to a shooting call at the XTC Cabaret in the 8500 block of Stemmons Freeway at 5:17 a.m. and found a man who had been shot in the chest and a woman who had been shot in the leg.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responders transported both victims to Parkland Memorial Hospital where police said the man — later identified as John Carlo Casiano-Torres — was pronounced deceased. The woman's condition was not released.
