A North Texas man has been sentenced to 30-years in prison for the death of a 2-year-old boy.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Timothy Marquis McBrown pleaded guilty on Monday to causing serious bodily injury to a child.
Two-year-old Taizon Arin died in January 2012 after being taken to a hospital. The Tarrant County medical examiner's office said his death was caused by a blow to the head.
McBrown will have to serve half his sentence before being eligible for parole. The 30-year-old had originally been charged with capital murder.
