Arlington police say a man was found lying in his driveway with multiple gunshot wounds Wednesday morning.
It happened at about 1 a.m. in a neighborhood on the 200-block of Pine Street, not far from Cowboys Stadium.
Police said the man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. He has several gunshot wounds in his abdomen.
Officers said the man told police he was in his home when someone came into the house and shot him.
As the investigation continues, police said they believe the man was targeted and that it was not a random act of violence. There were no items missing from the man's home, so police do not believe robbery is a motive.
Crime scene technicians are expected at the scene as soon as a warrant is issued.
