Dallas police discovered a man they say was murdered when they responded to a call regarding an unconscious person at an apartment near Lake Cliff Park early Sunday morning.
Upon arrival, officers found 62-year-old Frederick Whitley dead of apparent "homicidal violence" in his apartment in the 900 block of North Marsalis Avenue around 5:45 a.m., police said.
Police have not identified any suspects.
