A man fleeing police was killed in southwest Houston after the car he was driving crashed.
The impact threw the man from the vehicle around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Houston police say they initially began following the car when then they picked up a LoJack signal, which is usually transmitted from stolen cars armed with the tracking system.
The Houston Chronicle reports that the accident occurred when the man sped away, tried to make a U-turn and the car struck a median, flipping several times.
