Authorities said a freight train struck the body of a man in Dallas Monday morning. [[350530241,C]]
Police said they responded to the tracks near the 3000 block of North Stemmons Freeway at 3:44 a.m. after someone on a BNSF train found the body.
Police said they think it's possible that the victim found was riding on a train and fell in between the rail cars.
The victim has not yet been identified.
The BSNF train remained stopped on tracks throughout much of the morning. The tracks have since been reopened.
