A man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Arlington Thursday morning.
Arlington police arrived at about 2:18 a.m. to the 1500 block of North Collins Street. Officers found a man lying dead in the street.
Police say the man stepped off the curb onto the roadway when he was struck by a Jeep SUV.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as 31-year-old Clint Waycaster of Kennedale.
The driver of the Jeep stopped and called police. He is not expected to face charges.
