Man's Body Recovered from Guadalupe River

Man goes missing while tubing river

The body of a man who went missing in the Guadalupe River near Seguin has been recovered.

Game Warden Kevin Frazier told the San Antonio Express-News that the body of the man in his mid-30s was found Monday morning. The man's body was found near where he was believed to have gone under Sunday evening.

Authorities have said the man and several others were tubing on the river when they came upon deeper water. Four others were rescued but the one man remained missing.

Officials then searched the area with a boat until calling of the search for the night. The search then resumed Monday morning.

Frazier says search crews had difficulty last night getting the boat around the water due to heavy foliage.
