A man has been arrested in an overnight standoff that involved children.
Early Sunday morning Dallas SWAT officers arrested 37-year-old Santos Lemus after police said he shot at his wife. She was not struck by the bullet.
A person told police Lemus was upset with his wife not being at home. The wife and other family members, including children, were able to leave the house safely, according to police.
Lemus is in the Dallas County Jail on two charges of abandoning/endangering a child and two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
His bond has not been set at this time.
