A 38-year-old Abilene man is accused of beating a man to death using a wrench and then later burying his body.
KTXS-TV reported the man was arrested in the Dec. 27 death of Carey Rod Tate.
According to an affidavit filed in court by Abilene police, the suspect was upset after finding his ex-girlfriend at her house with Tate.
Investigators believe the suspect placed Tate's body in a dog kennel, drove to Jones County near Hawley and then buried him in a plot of land.
