For many, the announcement of Lamar Odom's trade to the Dallas Mavericks meant, "OMG!!! Khloe's coming to Dallas!" But one North Texan is thinking about something different.
As soon as Ashton Phillips found out the Kardashian brand would be moving to Texas, she began putting her skills to use. Like many who've utilized technology to land jobs and start ground-breaking companies, Phillips turned to the Internet.
She created Khloe and Lamar's Dallas Assistant, a blog geared solely toward becoming the couple's personal assistant.
Phillips writes, "Not only will Lamar have tons of events, practices and will need help updating his merchandise site, but Khloe will have tons of shoots, errands to run, trips back to Cali, and not to mention the perfume lines, DASH brands and the new Sears lines! Wow, a PA is much needed."
And, to think, she hasn't even graduated yet. She's posted her resume and has turned to the Twitterverse calling on friends, family, and news media to spread the word.
So, while you may not care about the Kardashians coming to the Metroplex, for Phillips, it's a potential job opportunity and a kickstart to a brand new career.
