Roads and facilities have reopened in Burleson following a gas leak earlier Thursday.
The gas line leak was reported near the intersection of Johnson Avenue and Newton Drive.[[446463753,R]]
The leak caused the Burleson Post Office to be closed, as well as the Burleson Public Library and Senior Center.
Johnson Avenue was closed in both directions between Newton Drive and Tarrant Avenue while crews worked to cap the leak.
Nearby Kerr Middle School, in the Burleson Independent School District, was not affected by the gas leak.
By about 3 p.m. the leak had been repaired, officials said.
