A former Plano ISD kindergarten teacher was convicted Tuesday of sexual misconduct involving two students at Hunt Elementary School in Murphy.
It took only a few hours for a jury to find Joseph Peter Garbarini III guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child and sexual performance by a child.
Garbarini faces sentencing in September. He could receive up to life in prison as punishment.
