A two-week-old Forest Hill baby was kidnapped Thursday by the mother's cousin and his girlfriend before being rescued, police said.
The baby was unhurt and back in her mother's arms Thursday night.
Marvin Gallow, 22, and Ericca Brown, 19, were arrested in Fort Worth's Stop Six neighborhood. They face kidnapping charges.
"We really wonder why did he take her, because he knew she wasn't his. ... He just snapped. He took the baby and left," said Denise Boger, the baby's grandmother.
Police said Brown recently had a miscarriage and tried to pass the baby off as her own.
