Jury selection has begun in the trial of Enrique Arochi, a man charged with kidnapping a Plano woman that has been missing since 2014.
Arochi's attorney said a more than 200 people would be reduced to a panel of 125 potential jurors Tuesday morning. Attorneys questioned the panel Tuesday afternoon.
The attorney said he was optimistic a final jury would be seated before the end of the day.

Opening arguments are set to begin Wednesday at the Collin County Courthouse after a change of venue request by Arochi was denied.
Arochi is accused of kidnapping Christina Morris from the Shops at Legacy in Plano in August 2014. Police said Arochi was the last person to see Morris before she went missing.
Morris still has not been found.
