Old St. Nick is never one to disappoint.
There was more joy at the 10th annual S. M. Wright Foundation Chrismas in the Park.
For young mothers like Tameka Massingill this annual toy and food give away truly is a holiday treat where every kid walks away with a toy and a smile.
Inside Fair Park, holiday spirit fills the air.
"I think this is a blessing for parents that need help, ya know," commented Sahniqur Fisher.
An estimated 15-thousand people lined up for this years event, which continues grow larger to meet the need.
S. M. Wright Foundation's Jason Fraser explains, "We've got a lot of great community outreach we've got a lot of good helpers in here and a lot people with great hearts that want to give back to the community."
And that spirit of giving is certainly contagious.
Sherri Berson, a volunteer for the event, mentioned "Oh I just love the kids seeing their faces handing out the toys its just a great day."
