John Deere is recalling 25,000 lawn tractors due to a transmission issue that can lead to a crash.
The recall includes John Deere model D105 lawn tractors with serial numbers beginning with 1GXD105. Service transmissions sold by John Deere retailers for use in the D105 tractors are also included in the recall.
The recalled tractors were sold at John Deere dealers, Home Depot, and Lowe's stores nationwide from February 2016 until July 2017.
So far no injuries have been reported. Anyone with one of the recalled tractors or transmissions should contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair.
