Irving police are investigating a Friday night carjacking that ended in a crash at an Dallas apartment complex.
Police said at around 9:45 p.m. Friday, two men carjacked a white Chevy Impala with dealer tags in Irving.
A Dallas police officer spotted the vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle but a chase ensued. The chase ended when the driver turned into an apartment complex on Oradell Lane at Timberline Drive and crashed into two cars.
Police say the two men inside the car jumped out and ran, but one was caught and taken into custody.
Irving police are handling the investigation and offered no other details. No word if anyone was hurt in the carjacking.
