ID Needed for Man Wanted in Connection With Arlington Sex Assault

The Arlington Police Department is asking for help identifying a person wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

According to police, the victim was walking alone in the early-morning hours of Oct. 29 when a man stopped and asked if she needed help. The woman got into the man's vehicle, but instead of helping her he drove behind a business on the 800 block of North Watson Road where he sexually assaulted her.

Police released still photos and surveillance video of the vehicle and the man when he stopped at a nearby gas station.

The woman described the man as white with a heavy build and dirty blonde to brown hair. He had a goatee and beard and blue eyes. In the video the man was wearing a yellow T-shirt, orange and black shorts and his hair may have been in a ponytail.

The woman said he was driving a 2000-2006 Chevrolet Suburban with no front grill and damage on the hood and passenger side door. The SUV had factory rims, black trim and luggage racks and tinted windows.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Arlington Police Detective Angie Franco at 817-459-5352. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward and can remain anonymous by contacting Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477 or online at 469TIPS.com.
