A Houston educator reassigned during a 2013 criminal case has been removed from his duties again amid allegations that he hit four students.
Sharpstown High School Principal Rob Gasparello declined comment Tuesday.
Four students this week reported to school district police that Gasparello recently struck them. The boys also complained to the League of United Latin American Citizens.
LULAC spokesman Robert Kimball says most of the students, who speak Spanish and have limited English skills, don't recall specific dates. Kimball says the teens also say Gasparello kicked two of them out of school without due process.
Gasparello in 2013 was removed from his duties while facing criminal charges of failure to report suspected child abuse. Prosecutors last October dropped the charges related to students alleging a teacher inappropriately touched them.
