Authorities are seeking a fake police officer who flashed a badge before three other gunmen robbed a Houston-area home and left one victim slightly hurt.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that the search continues for the four suspects in the Mission Bend crime.
A man with a badge on a chain approached the house around midday Monday. The homeowner refused to let the man into the home but instead directed him to the garage.
Authorities say three other men barged into the house and held the man, his son and his daughter-in-law at gunpoint while ransacking the residence. Sheriff's officials say one victim was hit by a suspect but wasn't seriously hurt.
The gunmen fled with some cash, a handgun and two cellphones.
