Horses on the Run in Grand Prairie During Rush Hour

A day after a police pursuit in Dallas grabbed headlines, there was an unusual police pursuit in Grand Prairie.

This one not only stopped traffic, but stumped officers.

Dashcam video shows two horses trotting along Belt Line Road during morning rush hour and apparently weren't phased by police officers.

"I actually turned my lights on one time and the horse walked right up to my window and looked at me and did this (nods head) and just took off running," said Grand Prairie Police Officer Bryan Williams.

Randall Stillinger sent a photo of the horses running along the grass shoulder on Belt Line Road south of Jefferson Street.

Police had to get creative to move the horses, they formed a corral with their cars and with the help of their owner did eventually get them rounded up.
