Thousands of North Texans are without power after high winds snapped power lines.
Oncor's outage information system listed 3875 without power in the Dallas area and 842 in the Fort Worth area at last update of 9:16 a.m. Numbers are likely to decrease throughout the day -- click here for the latest information on outages via Oncor.
The lack of power is a major issue for the Metroplex as temperatures climb into the triple digits for another day. Additionally, the high winds may cause additional issues as wildfire dangers continue to increase.
