Hidden Cash to Come to Fort Worth on Wednesday

The hidden cash craze continues in North Texas on Wednesday, with a planned event in Fort Worth's Historic Stockyards.

The event has already taken place at Dallas' Victory Park and another time in Irving, but the organizer says there was a call on social media to bring the game to Fort Worth.

The organizer tweeted on Wednesday morning about the event.

The event has made bigger splashes and craziness in other parts of the country earlier this year. Stacey Monroe brought it to DFW with the Victory Park event on June 3.

While the event is meant to be fun, a warning about how to participate and behave was put out by the Twitter handle that gives clues, @HiddenCashDFW.

The Fort Worth Police Department's media relations office could not confirm a meeting between the organizer and police, but said it was possible.

Area businesses appeared excited about the event. Billy Bob's Texas also took to Twitter about the event, saying people could get in free afterward if they say "show me the money."
