Habitat for Humanity Home Moved to Permanent Spot

The Trinity Habitat for Humanity home that was partially built in Sundance Square last week in Fort Worth finally started its journey to its permanent home on Tuesday.[[295777951,L]]

The move was supposed to happen Monday, but rain delayed that plan.

The home was built in Sundance Square to bring awareness to the organization's work.

The partially built home was completed on a large trailer, so Tuesday morning a truck just had to be attached to move the home.

The home was taken close to Greenlee Street where it will be put on its foundation. They have to wait until things dry out before placing it in its exact spot.

200 volunteers helped build the home on Sundance Square. The entire home will be completed by the end of the year.

Mary Myers and her four granddaughters were chosen to live in the home.
