The need for blue collar employees is growing, according to Tarrant County College. That includes an increased need for HVAC repair technicians.
A variety of degrees and certifications that can lead to a career are available at TCC. Some of the programs take a year to complete, while others can be finished in a weekend.
Enrolling in one class at TCC costs $649, which teaches skills needed to repair HVAC devices. TCC says even if you don't go into an HVAC repair career, the training could help you repair your A/C system on your own and save thousands of dollars.
