Police are searching for the person who broke into a Dallas home overnight Saturday and shot the homeowner.
The shooting took place at a home on the 7800 block of Roper Street.
The victim's condition has not been released, but police said they expect him to survive.
Police said they were not able to get a good description of the shooter.
Police have not said if anything was stolen from the victim's home.
