    Greenville Police Chief No Longer Employed by City

    The city of Greenville has a new police chief.

    Scott Smith will replace Daniel Busken and serve as the acting police chief, the city said in a press release Monday.

    Busken has been on leave since June 21, 2018, according to the Greenville Herald Banner. He was reportedly dealing with a medical issue.

    No further information was immediately available.
