Granger Hospitalized for Dehydration

Fort Worth congresswoman is expected to be home in a day or two.

U.S. Rep. Kay Granger was hospitalized for dehydration, according to her spokesman, Steve Dutton.

The Fort Worth Republican went to the hospital Wednesday night after becoming ill, but expects to be released in a day or so, Dutton said.

"She is disappointed she will miss floor consideration of the State-Foreign Operations bill, as she has put hard work into crafting a bipartisan bill with Chairwoman Nita Lowey that achieves balanced solutions to the many complex policy problems we face as a country. She looks forward to the successful passage of the FY 2010 State-Foreign Operations Appropriations bill," Dutton said.
