Search for Missing Grand Prairie Woman Over: Found Unharmed with Ex-Boyfriend: Police

Carrollton Police say they have found a 23-year-old Grand Prairie woman Thursday night after she was abducted by her estranged boyfriend.

In an Thursday morning Facebook post, Carrollton police said Madai Cazares was abducted by her ex-boyfriend, Jose Eduardo Reyes, at Century Products on Bellmeade Drive where she worked.

More than 20 hours later, Carrollton Police announced that Cazares had been found unharmed.

Investigators say she was found with her estranged boyfriend in a wooded area near Loop 12 and Northwest Highway. Reyes was taken into custody at that time. He is now facing kidnapping charges, which is a third degree felony.

Early Thursday morning, investigators said Cazares had recently ended a three-year relationship with Reyes.

Family went on to say the couple had a trouble past. Maria Cazares, Madai's mom, said she had to call police one time when Reyes threatened her daughter with a knife. The family worries she's currently in danger and believes they could be headed to Mexico. 

"Wherever you are be strong and try to escape because we need you and we're waiting for you."

However late Thursday night, Carrollton Police confirmed that Cazares had been found and was unharmed.
