Gleneagles Country Club Catches Fire

Fire ripped through one of the main buildings at a popular Plano country club late Monday night.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire at the Gleneagles Country Club, but there was extensive smoke and water damage throughout the central building.

Restoration and recovery companies were hard at work Tuesday morning trying to spruce up the damaged structure. The country club was closed as those crews worked.

Plano firefighters said the fire doesn't appear suspicious, but they're still trying to determine how it started.
