Get Ready for “Zero Tolerance” on Panhandling, Sleeping in Public

Homeless folks reading this from a library, watch out! The 5-0 don't want you asking for hand-outs or sleeping in the street.

Today, Dallas police will join forces with a privately employed security group paid for by DowntownDallas to rid the streets of panhandling, sleeping in public, and public intoxication offenses with their new "Zero Tolerance" policy.

What will actually happen with this policy is still to be seen, but here's our summation and prediction of what will happen: homeless folks are going to get tickets they can't pay. Ta-da!
